Non-Certified Officer Recruitment

Test

The Londonderry Police Department will not be hosting an in-house hiring process for non-certified officers for 2021. Instead, we will be reviewing all of the test results from the Great Bay Community College Police Testing Alliance. The police testing alliance component of GBCC operates out of the business and training office of the College and is holding police entrance exams quarterly throughout the year. The application process for non-certified candidates is as follows:

  1. Click here to register for the test.
  2. Once you've taken the GBCC exam, you must submit an application to the Londonderry Police Department via policeapp.com.
  3. The Londonderry Police Department will receive the applicant's scores approximately 2 weeks following the exam.  A representative from the Londonderry Police Department will select and notify candidates from that list who meet our agency's minimum qualifications.
  4. A representative from the Londonderry Police Department will coordinate a physical agility test and an oral board interview. Fitness standards can be found HERE.  The Londonderry Police Department requires a 1 rep max bench press test in addition to what is listed by the Police Standards & Training Council. The amount of the 1 rep max bench press will be determined by the candidate's weight and age, this will be sent out prior to the test.
